Child's bed
Believe it or not, this is a bed where a child regularly slept.  This bed is located in a home where a meth lab was operating.  Beyond the filth, notice the sharp glass near the foot of the bed.  Parents that are on meth often endanger their own kids by exposing them to violence, disease, emotional trauma, and toxic chemicals.

Hazmat duty
The chemicals used to make meth are corrosive, flammable, and highly toxic.  Residue from meth labs can remain in walls and carpeting for months, endangering anyone who might enter the building.  Law enforcement officials must take extraordinary measures to protect themselves, and special protective hazmat suits are frequently used.

Meth Bugs
Meth users will frequently hallucinate that there are bugs on their body, and they will scratch and dig at these imaginary bugs until they sometimes dig clear to the bone.  Addicts have been known to rub meth into these open wounds in order to get high.

Meth
Here is some freshly made meth recovered from a lab.  Because of variations in production methods, ingredients, and lab operator skill, meth can look like powder or crystals, and the color may vary considerably.  Notice that gloves are being worn so that the meth will not be absorbed through the skin.

Meth Mouth
The caustic chemicals in meth will quickly destroy teeth.  A significant portion of the cost of the care of prisoners in county jails is attributable to dental care for meth users.  Young people, especially women, are sometimes led to believe that meth will make them beautiful.

Meth Lab
This is a meth lab that was found in a workshop.  Meth labs can be setup anywhere:  Homes, motels, barns, vehicles, caves, and forests.  Because labs can setup anywhere, the toxic chemicals they contain pollute our neighborhoods, playgrounds, workplaces, and recreation areas.
